Many diets focus solely on the food, and eating various foods in a certain way in order for you to be healthy.

This is how 10 10 80 works!
Spend no more than 10% of your time focused on diet!
Some people go absolutely bonkers about diet and suddenly DIET is the only thing they are thinking about. Before they know it, the rest of their lives are in ruin, all because of diet! What they have failed to do is stay focused on their emotional happiness and the happiness of those around them.
These are some of the things that you should spend this 10% of your time doing:
- Learning about raw food
- learning about alkaline foods and acidic foods
- learning how what we eat affects our health
Spend no more than 10% of your time focused on learning about the things that are bad for us
Some people when they start following a particular approach to health become almost obsessive about everything that might harm them. Yes there are things out there that we should all be aware of, and many things hat we should try and avoid if at all possible, but there are also many things that we can't avoid. There is also strong evidence out there that worry itself can be bad for us. So Only spend no more than 10% of your time learning about this stuff..that is pleny of time!
The sort of things you should be using this 10% of your time for are:
- learning what foods to avoid as much as possible
- learning about external & environmental pollution
- learning about toxins and chemicals in processed foods
- about the dangers of mobile phones and other electrical gadgets
80% of your time should be spent on DOING things and BEING happy!
Many people expect their new DIET to make them healthy so that they can then do all the things that they want to do. In fact your body needs a reason in order to be healthy in the first place. This is why it is so important to spend most of your time actually doing the things that make you happy. When you are happy, your body functions better. Moving helps your bodily systems flow. Flow is healthy. Sitting still allows your bodily fluids (like your lymph) to stagnate.
Here are some of the things that you should be doing most of the time:
- Being happy
- Making others happy
- Doing things that make you happy
- Helping others to be happy
- Moving and using the health you have right now
- Being positive
- Breathing in fresh air
- Being in the sunshine
- Connecting with and getting back 2 nature
- Being still and reflecting inwards (meditation)
Some "experts" would argue that if someone is sick, they need to eat certain foods. I agree, but I would also add that they also need to focus on their emotional attitude and emotional state as a matter of urgency. Being happy makes you relaxed. Laughing helps you relax. Their is scientific evididence to show that Laughter can actually help your body heal. I would argue with a lot of experts who focus solely on "the food you eat".
Often it is not the food you eat that counts, but what your body can do with the food you eat. Being in a relaxed happy mood, improves the way your body functions, and therefore increases the potential of the food you are eating to do you good. Being relaxed and happy allows more of your bodies resources to be directed at digestion, and less towards your nervous system and your fight or flight response to the stress that staying on "A DIET" can bring with it.
Most DIETS are temporary things that result in people going back to what they did before, simply because they did nothing to change their attitude to food. New diet...same old attitude.
